Organic winery

We are an organic winery which currently produces Rosso di Montepulciano, Vino Nobile di
Montepulciano and Merlot. Our processes respect the soil and environment, whilst always striving for the best quality of wine. Under new ownership, the farm (and it’s wine) is slowly but surely being rejuvenated and wine production has
restarted, complete with an expansion of the cellar and overall wine making capabilities and capacity. We have also done
some renovations and plan to do a little bit more in future (don’t worry, this will only happen when we are not
open to the public), all the more reason for you to come back again and again. We will return to the wine market in
2024 with our 2022 vintage, which looks very promising at this early stage. We are incredibly passionate
about our little corner of Tuscany and hope that you will enjoy our products and hospitality as much as we do.

Company

The family that recently bought the farm hails from South Africa where all of them had very different careers and
ways of life. Linda was a game farmer with a background in commerce, Doug was a tax expert and AJ worked in
the world of marketing. A truly diverse group of people coming together with one goal in mind – to live a life away
from the hustle and bustle of the big city, to share this dream with guests and to make a wine that is elegant yet as
complex as their backgrounds. For all of them, there is a lot to do and learn, but they invite you to come and enjoy
their little corner of Tuscany.

The previous owners of the farm are still heavily involved in order to ensure that the farm, the guesthouse and the
wine cellar functions at optimal levels. A husband and wife team who lived and worked on the farm, Vittorio and
Silvia, have spent many years getting to know the land, understanding the hospitality industry and perfecting the
wine made from the Sangiovese and Merlot grapes on the farm. They are still instrumental in the day to day
running of the business and are constantly imparting their knowledge to the new owners.
